Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Emergency Room Tech, you will support safe, cost‑efficient patient care in the Emergency Department by performing delegated functions from the RN or Physician. Every day you will conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit. To be successful you will effectively execute delegated tasks, support unit operations, and contribute to a safe and efficient environment. Assist in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures and tasks within scope of practice. Assist in making observations, gathering data and identifying patient care needs. Respond appropriately to emergency situations. Assist with patient transport and transfer. Assist with cleaning, stocking and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Adhere to safety and risk management standards. Job Requirements Required High School GED or General Studies and Completion of one of the following that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program Medical Assistant program Certified Nursing Assistant Program Licensed Practical Nurse program Completion of one year of nursing school Certified Nursing Assistant: WA Licensed Practical Nurse: WA Medical Assistant Certification: WA Registered Nursing Assistant: WA Basic Life Support - CPR Medical Assistant – Phlebotomist: WA, within 6 months Pay Range $24.77 - $38.91 /hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
