Senior Credit Analyst

JCW is working with a community bank who are seeking senior credit analyst to play a key role in underwriting commercial credit facilities across a diverse portfolio of CRE and C&I borrowers. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis skills, sound credit judgment, and the ability to partner closely with Relationship Managers to support loan growth while maintaining the Bank's credit quality standards. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership, reporting to the CCO, and provides a strong path toward advancement into Portfolio Management or Credit Officer responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Underwrite new and existing CRE and C&I loan requests ranging from middle-market owner-occupied businesses to commercial real estate. Perform detailed financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, global cash flow analysis, and collateral evaluation. Assess borrower creditworthiness through analysis of financial performance, industry trends, management strength, repayment capacity, and guarantor support. Prepare comprehensive credit approval memorandums for presentation to senior management and loan committees. Qualifications 3-5 years of commercial credit underwriting experience within a bank or financial institution. Demonstrated underwriting experience across both Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending. Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, leverage metrics, collateral analysis, and commercial loan structuring.
