Night Shift, Full Time, Post Partum Couplet Care Registered NurseJoin our team in Westwood, NJ.Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare BetterThrive: We empower our team with career growth opportunities, tuition assistance, and resources that support your wellness, education, and financial well-being.People-First: We prioritize your well-being with paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and a supportive, inclusive culture where you are valued and cared for.Make Healthcare Better: We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care.Learn more about the benefits offered for this job.Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.ResponsibilitiesThe RN Post-Partum Staff functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes.This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager.QualificationsJob Requirements:Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited program in nursingNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CertificationBLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care or the American Red Cross (ARC).Registered Nurse (RN) with the New Jersey Board of Nursing or an RN Multistate License from the NCL is required.1-2 years Mother/Baby and/or Medical-Surgical nursing experience.Completed basic AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring Course within 6 months of hire.Preferred Job Requirements:OB nursing certification preferred.Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
