Ultrasound Vascular Specialist Contract Position

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct vascular and general ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality
• Clearly explain procedures and provide comfort to patients throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient assessments
• Accurately document findings and ensure timely reporting of results
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations and safety standards

Desired qualifications:

• Registered or registry-eligible as an Ultrasound Technologist or Vascular Sonographer (ARDMS, RVT, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in vascular and general ultrasound imaging
• In-depth knowledge of sonographic physics, equipment operation, and patient safety practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

$2,071 - $2,285/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 35 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
