Unloader Position at Ryder Ferrera
As an Unloader at Ryder Ferrera, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks using manual or forklift equipment.
- Sort, scan, and stage materials for storage or further distribution.
- Verify shipment accuracy against packing lists and delivery documents.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members and warehouse supervisors to meet operational goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in warehouse operations or unloading preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems is a plus.
- Forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to be trained.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if required.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse setting with varying temperature conditions.
- Requires physical endurance and adherence to safety guidelines.
