Tax Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Research and analyze complex tax issues to identify potential tax savings and compliance opportunities.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- dvise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Respond to IRS and state tax authority notices and inquiries.
- ssist with tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities.
- Mentor and train junior staff members.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., GoSystem Tax RS, CCH Axcess).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
