1st shift- HR Admin

Position Title HR Admin Location St. Louis, MO Compensation Wage: $20.75 per hour Shift and Hours Shift: 1st Hours: 9:00am-6:30pm (Mon-Fri) Responsibilities Perform HRIS functions for all hourly employees; may run reports from HRIS. Maintain applicant data, records, and acknowledgement; prepare new hire paperwork. Coordinate and maintain confidential personnel records. Answer general human resource questions and inquiries regarding benefits, compensation, recruiting, and employee relations. Process applications, schedule interviews, assist with background checks and check references. Assist with reference checks, background checks, and random drug testing. Log and process department bills and invoices. Assist with new employee orientations. Maintain accident reports, workers' compensation paperwork, and OSHA logs. Maintain job postings. Receive and distribute incoming department mail. Maintain office supplies. Act as primary backup to Switchboard Operator. Order flowers, birthday cakes, etc. for distribution center employees. Maintain and distribute staffing report for distribution center. Requirements Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of company policies, procedures and practices; familiarity with distribution center positions. Intermediate computer skills; ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and payroll systems such as Lawson and KRONOS. Detail oriented.
