Staff Veterinarian - Cardiologist

Locations : Angell - Boston, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130, USA Full-Time Requisition #: STAFF003525 Description The Angell Animal Medical Center is looking for a full‑time cardiologist to join our team! We currently support two cardiologists (with a third joining this summer) and three excellent cardiology residents. We have a long (100+ year) history of clinical excellence and have been training cardiology residents since 1988; come to the hospital that first developed specialty veterinary training. Preference will be given to individuals with backgrounds in teaching and clinical training; experience and interest in interventional cardiology is a plus. Equipment includes three GE E95s within three dedicated echo suites, a GE vivid IQ portable machine, 3D/4D TEE echo probe, and two Philips TC70 PageWriter cardiographs. We have in‑house telemetry monitoring, ambulatory ECG systems (Holter and event monitoring; implantable loop recorder), Doppler and oscillometric blood pressures systems. A fully equipped cardiac catheterization lab includes c‑arm fluoroscopy with power injection for angiography. We also offer a well‑staffed radiology department with digital radiography, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine.
