Senior Groundskeeper

Location: CLAFLIN UNIVERSITY - 10171001 Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process. You belong in a company that allows you to act with purpose and thrive in your own way. What You’ll Do As a Senior Groundskeeper at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge to identify and maintain the property landscape. Responsibilities Assign and oversee the work of Groundskeepers, ensuring that all of work for the shift has been completed in an acceptable manner. Assist in landscaping and maintaining assigned areas including keeping the grounds in clean and orderly condition. Responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of grounds areas and sports turf areas, as well as specific detailing of the landscape and flowerbeds. Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity. Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements. Qualifications Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all. 2 or more years of related work experience. Horticultural training required. Pesticide and herbicide application license(s). May require certification/license for certain Heavy Equipment.
