CDL A Route Delivery DriverDirect hire: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced CDL A Route Delivery Driver to join a dynamic team. Location: Shelbyville, KY. Pay: $25-$28hr depending on experience. Shift: Second- Monday - Friday (occasional weekends if needed). Hours: Start time is between 4pm and 9pm (depending on the route) 10 hour days. Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with company match, PTO, paid holidays and more!Responsibilities for CDL A Route Delivery Driver:Have excellent attendanceMeet established route schedulesHave good communication and customer service skillsFollow all company safety rulesBe able to work well with a diverse workforceBe able to follow directions given by their supervisor or managerFollow all company policies and proceduresPossess and maintain a positive attitudeMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policiesDeliver the product to our customers in a timely mannerBe able to work past the schedule, as production/delivery issues may ariseAbility to properly maintain required daily and weekly paperworkPerform a daily visual inspection of the equipmentPerform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fitAdditional Responsibilities:Cross-train on other routes per department needsPerform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as neededSkills/Requirements for CDL A Route Delivery Driver:Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per dayBe able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pullingValid Class A drivers licenseAdhere to all DOT, state, and local regulationsMust have clean driving record per company policyHave six months to one-year experienceBe available to drive nights and weekendsAbility to speak and read the English languageAbility to lift 25 pounds overheadAbility to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per dayBe able to use repetitive arm motionsIf you are interested in learning more about this role, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!
