Financial Analyst

Overview Working with the Americas Cost Account Manager, the Financial Analyst has a wide range of responsibilities to support everything from data validation to reporting and analytics. Responsibilities Perform financial analysis on items including revenues, margins, operating costs, receivables, inventory Identify variances to budgets and monthly forecasts Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, make necessary adjustments Analyzing product margin and mix, working directly with sales to ensure that sales and margin targets are met or exceeded Participating in month-end close process in areas such as accruals, revenue recognition, intercompany charges, etc. Assisting with budget/forecast activities and supporting annual financial audit Adhere to all relevant administrative requirements, policies and procedures and respect confidentiality of data Maintains and processes entries in accordance with IFRS accounting rules Complete various projects and tasks as assigned with minimal oversight Qualifications A BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or similar degree and 2-4 years in a position as a Financial Analyst. Demonstrates a solid knowledge of principles in the field of accounting Strong verbal and written skills along with good interpersonal and organizational skills Strong/advanced Excel skills required.
