Remote Paid Internship SUMMER 2026: Customer Service Associate (Tax) at Straive Are you looking for a paid, remote internship that combines customer service experience with financial accounting software and cutting‑edge AI and data analytics solutions? Internship Details Position: Customer Service Associate (Tax) Intern Type: Contract (13 weeks / approximately 3‑4 months) Location: Remote Target Start Date: June 22nd Shift Timings: Full‑time, working either 9:00 AM — 6:00 PM ET or 11:00 AM — 8:00 PM ET What You Will Do This 13‑week program includes a 5‑week paid training period followed by 8 weeks of project work. You will contribute to our core focus of delivering advanced data analytics solutions by: Providing support for business and individual tax software and practice clients via phone, email, and online chat. Resolving moderate to complex system or content inquiries using internal knowledge bases and product guides. Accurately identifying, resolving, and escalating issues while recording interactions in the customer relationship database. Engaging and contributing to continuous improvement: Identifying and documenting resolutions to recurring inquiries, cross‑training on products, and participating in process improvement initiatives. Demonstrating professionalism, strong self‑management skills, and effective communication in a remote, fast‑paced environment. Intern Compensation This is a paid internship opportunity: Initial weekly stipend during the 5‑week training period. Weekly stipend during the subsequent 8‑week project. What You Will Bring Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s Degree or 2 years of college education in a business‑related field. OR 1 year of experience or knowledge in accounting/bookkeeping, financials/reporting, or sales/CRM. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a high commitment to meeting the needs of customers and colleagues. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and follow through on priorities. Preferred Qualifications Educational background in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Experience in a help desk or customer support environment. Knowledge of tax, accounting, and audit principles. #J-18808-Ljbffr Straive
