This is a dual role position combining consultative sales with hands-on furniture and home furnishings movement.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer ServiceGreet and assist customers in a warm, knowledgeable mannerGuide customers through the showroom and provide product informationProcess sales transactions accurately using POS systemsSupport consignor intake and item tagging as neededMaintain showroom appearance, cleanliness, and visual standardsShowroom Floor & MerchandisingAssist in the placement, relocation, and staging of furniture and home furnishings on the showroom floorCollaborate with team members on team lifts for large or heavy itemsRearrange displays to reflect new inventory, seasonal changes, or sales directivesFollow all safety protocols when moving merchandisePhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as neededMust be able to lift and move up to 50-75 lbs. with team lift assistanceComfortable working in a dynamic, active retail environmentQualificationsPrior retail or customer service experience preferredInterest in home furnishings, interior design, or luxury resale a plusReliable, team-oriented, and energeticAbility to work weekends and holidays as neededMust have reliable transportation; occasional travel to other Eco Chic Consignments locations may be required.Important Notes:PLUS: Hourly DOE: We offer competitive pay plus potential for commissions and bonuses for those that are eligible.
