Sr. Actuary (FSA), Pension Risk Transfer Pricing

Senior Retirement ActuaryPricing partner to live business. Closer to a pricing-underwriting partner than a modelling-heavy IC because Sales bidding and transaction execution shape the work.Senior Retirement actuary role in Pacific Life's Pension Risk Transfer pricing team, based in Newport Beach, CA, with alternatives in Omaha or Charlotte. You'll lead PRT pricing, product development, transaction execution, profitability analysis, and sales collaboration, using Excel, VBA, and Prophet. The role requires an FSA and direct PRT experience.RequirementsMust haveFSA designation (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries)Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fieldStrongly preferredExperience in actuarial pricing, product development, and modelingDirect experience with Pension Risk Transfer productsStrong sense of ownership and ability to drive resultsDemonstrable track record of working effectively with others, providing mentorship, and driving team successAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high degrees of ambiguity and changeProficiency in Microsoft Excel & VBATools: Excel Domain: Pension Risk Transfer pricing Actuarial pricing and product development Acturhire
