Job Title: Part-Time Leasing Office Assistant
Position Type: Part-Time (10–15 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday during business hours. Flexible, recurring weekly schedule within these parameters.
Location: Hybrid (In-office for initial training, with potential for a hybrid remote schedule thereafter)
Compensation: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Leasing Office Assistant to join our team part-time. In this role, you will handle critical administrative and leasing tasks, managing documentation from initial tenant applications through lease execution and renewals. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of urgency to their work, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a structured yet flexible setting.

Core Responsibilities

• Lease Administration: Draft, send, and systematically follow up on all new lease agreements and lease renewal packages.
• Tenant Notices: Prepare and distribute official rent increase notices to current residents in accordance with timeline requirements.
• Application Processing: Review, verify, and process incoming rental applications, managing background and credit checks as required.
• Financial Data Entry: Securely log and enter rent receipts and tracking payments within our property management system.
• Vendor Operations: Act as a point of contact for external vendors, coordinating and scheduling service or maintenance appointments as needed.
• Office Support: Provide general administrative backing, including occasionally answering office phones and routing inquiries professionally.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Soft Skills: Extreme attention to detail, stellar organizational habits, dependability, and a proactive sense of urgency.
• Availability: Must be regularly available to work a set, recurring schedule of 10 to 15 hours per week, distributed between Monday and Friday during standard business hours.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfort navigating digital platforms for document signing and general data entry.

Preferred "Plus" Qualifications

• Software: Prior experience utilizing AppFolio property management software is a strong plus.
• Marketing: Previous experience with digital marketing, social media promotions, or real estate listings is highly valued.
