Shipper Receiver

Description:

Position Summary

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for managing the accurate and timely flow of all incoming and outgoing product. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to operate a forklift safely, and coordination with internal teams and external carriers to ensure inventory accuracy and on-time shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare, stage, and ship outgoing product according to shipping schedules and customer requirements
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in compliance with safety standards
• Manage and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory
• Ensure product is properly labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damage
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to obtain fork truck certification after start date
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read shipping documents, bills of lading, and packing lists
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
• This position works in the companies ERP software, Global Shop, to receive purchase orders.
• Ability to lift, move, and stack product as required (with or without accommodation)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time - Regular work hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F

Pay Range: $21 - $23 / hour depending on experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lawrence, PA 15055: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Industrial work environment: 1 years minimum

Compensation details: 21-23 Hourly Wage
