Litigation Associate (Lemon Law)

Position: Associate Attorney (Lemon Law)
Salary: $100k + bonuses
Location: Pasadena, CA

Position Overview

Award-winning lemon law firm in Pasadena is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join their litigation team.

The ideal candidate will be a 1st or 2nd year attorney fresh out of law school who would like to practice consumer law.

This is a great opportunity for those eager to learn how to try a case from start to finish. This position entails a light caseload (30-40 cases) because client communication is key.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in consumer law and lemon law cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current legal trends and changes in consumer law.
• Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication and trust.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 1-2 years experience as a lawyer practicing in CA.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of consumer law, lemon law, and litigation procedures is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
