Shift: 3 12's 7a- 7p Patient Population: Vascular Surgery, minimally invasive Cardiovascular surgery. Patient Ratios: 1 RN and 1 tech per case. High Acuity cases may have 2 RNs and 1 tech. Number of Beds: 4 OR's Department Specifics: >95% of RNs have BSN, 60% are Specialty Certified. We have world renowned surgeons, we use RNs to scrub, and we can teach you. Involved in the latest innovations, strong practice councils and opportunity for leadership advancement. Call requirements: are one weeknight every week, one weekend every 6th weekend, and one holiday per year. Qualifications - Education - Grad of an Accredited Program - Major - Nursing - Experience - 1yr of OR RN Experience, preferably 2yr; Some experience in hearts; Highly prefer an RN who scrubs - Certification/License/Registration - Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
