Revenue Cycle Manager

Pilgrim Place is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end revenue cycle across our continuum of care. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in supporting the financial health of a mission-driven Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) serving older adults in a vibrant, inclusive environment.About the RoleThe Revenue Cycle Manager is a hands-on, individual contributor responsible for billing, collections, payer relations, and revenue integrity across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living.This role works closely with Admissions, Clinical, and Finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant revenue processes while delivering a positive experience for residents and their families.What You’ll DoManage the full revenue cycle, including billing, claims, collections, and denial resolutionEnsure accurate and timely billing across all levels of careMonitor accounts receivable and drive strategies to reduce aging and improve cash flowServe as the primary contact for Medicare, Medicaid, insurance providers, and private pay residentsResolve billing questions and concerns with professionalism and careTrack and analyze key performance metrics such as AR days, denial rates, and collectionsEnsure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulationsSupport audits and maintain accurate documentationPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate census and payer dataWhat You BringExperience in a CCRC or Life Plan CommunityFamiliarity with long-term care insuranceExperience with systems such as PointClickCare, MatrixCare, or similarBachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of revenue cycle experience in healthcare or senior livingStrong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay billingExperience across multiple levels of care (SNF, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living preferred)Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the revenue cycle functionStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWhy Pilgrim Place?Pilgrim Place is more than a workplace—it’s a community.
