Registered Nurse Trauma Coordinator

Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, TX seeks a Registered Nurse Trauma Coordinator PI to lead trauma performance improvement and patient safety initiatives. The RN coordinates data collection, analysis, and reporting for trauma cases, ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. This role develops and monitors PI plans, conducts case reviews, supports trauma education, and promotes evidence-based practice. The Trauma Coordinator also serves as a clinical resource, supports readiness for trauma surveys, and champions a culture of quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
