Contract NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. No call required. Job Description We are seeking a skilled NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide respiratory care to our vulnerable neonatal patients. Your expertise will be critical in managing respiratory therapies and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for our infants. Responsibilities Administer nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and manage ventilators as needed. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with medical staff to develop effective patient care strategies. Educate families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans. Ensure accurate documentation within the EMR system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RRT certification; must be licensed to practice respiratory therapy. ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required. Experience in NICU, PICU, or similar environments preferred.
