Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) Burbank, California. This position involves providing specialized operating room support within an acute care hospital. The role requires technical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and flexibility to meet the needs of a dynamic surgical environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license; minimum 1 year of operating room technician experience; experience with orthopedic procedures is preferred
• Special Equipment: Bronchoscopes, Fiber Optics, Flex Sigmoidoscopes
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Additional Unit Information: Flexibility in scrub color can be accommodated; strong in orthopedic procedures; call rotation around 4-6 times every 6-week schedule, including weekend coverage as part of the rotation; adherence to facility fixed notes and protocols is expected
• Responsibilities: Support surgical teams with instrumentation and equipment management, ensure aseptic techniques, assist with a wide range of surgical procedures, and operate specialized equipment according to protocols.
• Other Requirements: LA fire card within the last 30 days; references covering last 3 years (minimum 6 months for CNAs), two references required; respond to inquiry about previous experience at a Providence facility if applicable.
