Position: Business Operations Manager Location: Eads, TN (On‑site) About LabExpress LabExpress provides time‑critical laboratory transportation services to healthcare providers nationwide. Our teams ensure medical specimens move reliably and securely across the U.S., supporting patient care and clinical decision‑making. The Role We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to oversee critical operational support functions across commercial shipping, dispatch, customer reporting, and vendor coordination. This role is essential to keeping our nationwide, time‑sensitive logistics operation running smoothly. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Operations, Billing, Dispatch, and Vendors in a fast‑paced healthcare logistics environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability matter. What You’ll Do Commercial Flight & Shipping Management Manage monthly flight guides and daily commercial flight research Coordinate and track pre‑booked commercial shipments Obtain airway bills and communicate flight details to Operations Managers Monitor delays and provide documentation and customer updates Prepare weekly and monthly shipping reports for Billing Customer Communication & Account Support Maintain client notification contact lists Provide alternate routing solutions when schedules change Compile client‑requested and market‑based monthly reports Supply & Inventory Management Order and distribute vendor‑ and customer‑provided supplies Track and report monthly supply costs Manage LabExpress inventory (apparel, badges, labels, lockboxes) Dispatch & Workforce Management Create and manage weekly dispatch and customer service schedules Review PTO requests and approve time worked Provide shift coverage when needed Submit payroll and labor reports Vendor & Facilities Management Coordinate building maintenance and service vendors Manage vendor onboarding and insurance compliance Schedule routine maintenance for alarms, generators, and HVAC What We’re Looking For 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, or transportation management Experience with time‑critical or NFO air transportation preferred Microsoft Office and operational reporting skills Experience with scheduling, payroll reporting, or workforce oversight Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Work Environment In‑office position that supports a time‑sensitive, real‑time operation May require flexible hours or occasional afterhours/weekend support High‑impact role with cross‑department visibility Why Join LabExpress Play a critical role in national healthcare logistics Work in a trusted, high‑visibility operations position Exposure to billing, vendor management, and operational leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr Lab Express, Inc
