As a House Manager you play a vital role in maintaining well-organized and efficient staffed homes. You will support day-to-day operations of the houses, provide administrative assistance, and serve as a liaison between the office and the staffed houses. Your contributions help foster a welcoming workspace and a strong connection between the office and the staffed homes.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Support House Leads with oversight.

· Answer staff phone calls and check mail regularly.

· Make timely grocery orders and other approved purchases.

· Communicate with landlords on maintenance requests and other issues.

· Create a comprehensive and complete house schedule for each staffed house.

· Coordinate emergency schedule changes / scheduling needs.

· Assist with interviews for house staff positions.

· Ensure effective and complete training for new house staff.

· Maintain accurate records of house staff for human resources files.

· Assist with maintaining a budget and cutting extraordinary spending.

· Cover staff when an emergency arises that requires support or in-person attention.

· Conduct monthly monitoring of each staffed home to ensure maintenance

· Conduct regular one-to-one check-ins with staff.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Support the Residential Director with implementing new house requirements as requested.

· Support the Program Coordinator with ensuring staff delivers proper PRS care.

· Stay current on staffing requirements and changes to applicable regulations.

· Attend meetings and training courses / classes as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.

· At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role or 2 years of experience as a DSP for individuals with disabilities.

· Must be able to pass a background check.

· Must be able to pass a Colorado Adult Protective Services check.

· Must be a Qualified Medication Administration Person or willing to become a QMAP.

· Must maintain a CPR/First Aid certification.

· Must be willing to train in de-escalation and restraint.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to interact professionally with internal staff, guardians, team members, external landlords, and external vendors.

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment.

· Familiarity with online ordering platforms (e.g., Amazon, Wal-Mart).

· Friendly and proactive approach to customer service, with the ability to handle inquiries and address issues promptly.

· Basic understanding of or willingness to learn HR processes

· Familiarity with confidential handling of employee files and adherence to privacy standards.

· Ability to handle unexpected situations and coordinate with building maintenance, vendors, and team members for resolution.

· Proactive in anticipating needs and taking initiative to improve processes.

· Willingness to participate in rotating weekend on-call duties and ability to manage on-call phone and tasks when scheduled.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to aid with house moves and perform light cleaning or organizational tasks as needed.

· Capability to lift and carry office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
