The role involves working in a crisis stabilization unit with a focus on medication management and therapeutic group activities. The unit provides support for patients with PTSD, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and anxiety disorders. Interdisciplinary support is available from various specialists, including occupational and music therapists. Nursing staff will engage in therapeutic activities and medications management as part of the treatment plan. RNs may be required to take on charge nursing responsibilities during shifts without additional pay. All candidates must pass a drug screening and cannot have a history of failed tests. Floating to different patient populations may be expected depending on scheduling needs. Applicants should not have recent employment history with this facility prior to applying.
