Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - West Haven, CT
Are you a CDL-A driver searching for an OTR opportunity that provides weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes across the Northeast with excellent equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while adhering to a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are designed for steady miles, allowing you to maintain regular time with family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handling dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This means less physical work, allowing you to concentrate on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers earn between $1,000 to $1,450 weekly, based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Covering Northeast regional routes from Maine to Virginia. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
