Job Title: Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: Bala Cynwyd, PA


Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM


Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour


Job Description:


A warm and loving family in Bala Cynwyd, PA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to care for their 2-year-old daughter and manage household tasks. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to balance childcare with housekeeping duties effectively.


Responsibilities:

Childcare:

• Provide attentive and compassionate care for a 2-year-old girl.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain a consistent daily routine, including naptime, playtime, and educational activities.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
• Manage bath time, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Accompany the child to appointments, playdates, and other activities as needed.

Housekeeping:

• Perform general cleaning and tidying of the home, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and bathroom cleaning.
• Laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
• Organize and maintain household spaces, including the child's play area, bedrooms, kitchen, and common areas.
• Assist with grocery shopping and running errands as needed.
• Prepare family meals and snacks according to dietary preferences.
• Manage household supplies and ensure items are well-stocked.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.
• Proficiency in managing household tasks.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide references.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a positive attitude.
