HR Manager Medina, OH Pride One Construction is currently searching for a hands-on, full-time experienced HR Manager will support the full scope of Human Resource responsibilities and partner with the organization in planning and implementing strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with senior leadership and department managers to design and execute people strategies that align with our overall business goals while managing day-to-day HR operations. Pride One is a commercial construction company that includes apartments, hotels, student housing, assisted living facilities and adaptive reuse projects. Competitive pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Life Insurance & HSA Paid Time Off 401(k) company match Bonus opportunities Phone Allowance Gas Reimbursement Advancement opportunities Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certifications are preferred but not required Deep understanding of modern, state-of-the-art practices across all HR functional areas Ability to translate HR metrics into business implications and collaborate closely with Finance on bottom-line impacts Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems necessary to run an efficient HR department Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Partnership: Think Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to design, implement, and maintain a long-term HR and talent plan aligned with the organization's strategic vision. Consult & Coach: Act as a trusted business partner to leadership and managers, providing coaching, mentoring, and people-related strategies. Lead Change: Guide the organization through change management efforts, including strategic communication planning. Innovate: Research and present industry best practices to facilitate continuous organizational improvement. Culture & Employee Relations: Steward Culture: Foster an intentional organizational culture that drives collaboration, high performance, and environmental goals. Engage & Retain: Maintain a positive employee relations environment focused on boosting employee engagement and retention. Resolve Conflict: Manage workplace conflicts constructively while building strong relationships across all departments. Talent Management & Development: Build the Bench: Develop and administer robust talent management and succession planning programs to ensure future business continuity. Performance Excellence: Help implement the company’s performance management program to identify and nurture high-potential staff. Train & Develop: Coordinate training requirements with department managers and lead training and development initiatives. HR Operations & Administration: Lifecycle Management: Coordinate and execute full onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees. Systems & Payroll: Manage HRIS functions and complete accurate payroll operations. Benefits & Wellness: Lead the selection, renewal, and administration of employee benefits and wellness programs. Mitigate Risk: Maintain an understanding of regulatory components to minimize risk for the organization. Pride One Construction had its roots as a land development and Cluster Home Community builder of age targeted homes over 20 years ago. Construction was primarily focused on projects in Northeast Ohio. We quickly became a full service “turnkey” developer.
