What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a sharp, business-savvy legal leader to build and scale our Legal function. This high-impact, generalist role requires someone who excels across commercial, corporate, and regulatory areas—translating complexity into clarity quickly. You will collaborate with leaders across Sales, Product, People, and Finance to support smart growth, manage global risks, and help the company scale confidently.

What Youll Do:

Provide strategic legal advice directly to the executive team, including the CEO, CFO, and Board, on risk and business strategy.

Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements such as SaaS, vendor contracts, partnerships, NDAs, and DPAs, focusing on practical risk management and deal speed.

Coordinate with our Romania-based legal team and external law firms as needed.

Oversee corporate legal matters including governance, board processes, equity administration, entity management, and fundraising.

Advise on global privacy and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), working with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to embed compliance into operations.

Manage international legal issues, especially concerning our Romanian entity, and advise on cross-border matters as the company expands.

Partner with various teams on strategic initiatives requiring legal input, from product launches to regulatory compliance.

Proactively identify and mitigate legal and compliance risks to enable swift business growth with confidence.

What Were Looking For:

10+ years of legal experience, ideally with top law firms and in-house roles within the tech industry.

Expertise in commercial contracts, corporate law, and privacy/data protection.

Experience with U.S. and European legal frameworks and contracting norms.

Strong business acumen with the ability to give clear, actionable advice in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with AI-enabled legal tools for efficiency.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a hands-on approach.

Bar admission in at least one relevant jurisdiction.

Experience in Series A–C tech startups or cross-border corporate environments.
