Donor Care Specialist

Overview Are you looking to make a difference in your community? LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and goal-driven individual to join the team as a Donor Care Specialist in Gainesville, FL . This position is responsible for receiving and handling donor-related issues and questions, including but not limited to inbound communication from donors via email, text and phones, and donor recognition. Weekend availability preferred. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) Assist donors with issues related to eligibility, customer service, donation experience, donor portal, website, donor store, appointment scheduling, recognition items, etc. Screen inbound communication and connect with appropriate departments. Respond to all inbound communication to provide point of contact for LifeSouth donors. Contact first time donors post donation to answer questions and schedule future appointments. Handle urgent donor communication about drive/hours changes after hours. Coordinate donor milestone recognition, including list generating, printing, and mailing. Some travel may be a requirement for the job. Attendance is a requirement for the job. Must have consistent and reliable transportation. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma required. Valid driver’s License required. Must meet and maintain LifeSouth’s driver eligibility requirements. Basic computer skills and experience with computer programs such as MS Office. Additional Details This is a full-time position. Starting salary range is $14.00 - $15.40 an hour. Criminal background check and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.
