Job Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative support that includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and effectively managing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, overseeing medication delivery, wound management, patient discharge protocols, and educational needs

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations that emphasize surgical practice is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Current and unrestricted certification as a PA-C
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
