PCA/Caregiver to Work in Greensboro for Paralyzed Client

Looking for a weekend warrior to work 8am-8pm on Saturday and Sunday. The client is a 46-year-old male who is paralyzed and requires slide board and lifts. He lives in his own house with 24/7 care. There are two pitbulls at home (they are sweet) and he smokes, so the caregiver should be okay with that.

While your role will vary by client, it will usually include:

• Providing caring and dependable companionship
• Light housekeeping
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Assisting with personal hygiene (like bathing and toileting)
• Transportation to and from your client's appointments and activities
• Carrying out a plan of care that best supports your client
• Creating compassionate and supportive solutions to your client's unique needs by collaborating with your HomeHelpers team and your client's family

• Hold a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
• Have a smart phone and email account
• Understand the importance of client confidentiality
• Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
