Hospitals, hotels, schools, bridges, airports, and more.Come build a career you believe in.About the RoleAs a Project Manager – Electrical at Zekelman Industries, you will lead the design and execution of NEC-compliant electrical projects valued between $1M and $6M. You'll ensure quality, safety, and profitability while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business growth.You'll work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage schedules, budgets, and overall project delivery. This is a full-time, onsite role that requires regular travel to construction sites across multiple states.This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based construction environment and values detail, communication, and accountability.What You'll DoManages electrical projects from planning through completion to ensure quality and profitabilityDevelops strong client relationships built on trust, reliability, and open communicationIdentifies client needs and delivers NEC-compliant solutions that support current and future requirementsOversees scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and daily field activitiesLeads communication with clients, suppliers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignmentCoordinates drawing development, load calculations, and submission of required documents to AHJsSupports negotiation with clients and suppliers as neededEnsures all work complies with Z-Modular Power safety and quality standardsPromotes ethical practices and consistent project performanceWho You AreBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience through an Associate Degree or Trade School Certification5 or more years of experience managing commercial electrical projectsStrong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling toolsProcore Certification, PMP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferredSkilled in electrical system design and understanding of AHJ approval processesStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projectsAble to travel regularly to construction sites across multiple statesEligible to work in the United StatesWork Environment:Work takes place in an office environment with standard equipment, along with frequent visits to construction sites in various states. This role requires collaboration with teams across departments and regions.
