Shift Leader

The Shift Leader supports the management team in running an assigned location and leads a team of 2-5 crew members to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service. Shift Leader Responsibilities Coaching the staff to deliver amazing customer service; Producing high quality food; Delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience; Cash handling; Following the Learning Management System Training Program; Developing others for career growth; Enforcing policies and procedures; Participating in local and national marketing initiatives; Building sales; Maintaining the cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment; Being certified in all four restaurant positions; Effective communication; Having a sense of urgency. Shift Leader Expectations Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance unless a medical notation is provided; Work 38-40 hours per week; Have reliable transportation to and from work; Communicate with the GM/AGM/DM about any issues; Lead by example in food quality, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean, pressed uniform daily. Additional Responsibilities Create food consistent with Jersey Mikes high quality standards. Maintain the restaurant in a noticeably cleaner condition than others. Work in a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment. Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency. Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience. Full understanding of accountability and integrity. Key holder. Perform all tasks related to opening and closing the store. Know how to bake bread and perform all prep. Manage and lead a crew of 2 to 5 people. Proficient in slicing. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. One year of QSR experience preferred. Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer. Serve Safe Certification – Food Handler. Must have reliable transportation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
