Electrical Drafter

The Substation Drafter supports the design of substation engineering projects. Primary Responsibilities Create electrical drawings for facilities, such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security, and fire detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) Develop entry-level drawings by using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of other Electrical Technicians or Engineers Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting, and detailing Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required Ability to learn MicroStation software An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in designing electrical lighting, power, and systems for building projects Experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm highly desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr
