- **How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:**New hire sign on bonus of up to $30,000 and up to $7,000 in relocation assistance is available. HOURS: Monday - Friday; 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Sat am clinic rotation The Radiologic Technologist Outpatient performs diagnostic imaging procedures in ambulatory and practice-based settings. This role utilizes specialized equipment and clinical judgment to produce high-quality images while supporting efficient patient flow and excellent customer service.The Radiologic Technologist Outpatient* Supports Carilion Clinic’s hallmarks of service excellence and quality in all job responsibilities.* Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiographic equipment in outpatient settings.* Assesses patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safe and appropriate care.* Positions patients and operates imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.* Utilizes PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record systems for documentation and workflow.* Collaborates with physicians, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.* Participates in training and orientation of students and staff.* Maintains a safe environment and adheres to radiation safety standards.* Manages workflow independently and prioritizes patient care needs in a fast-paced environment.* Maintains confidentiality and complies with regulatory and organizational standards.# **What We Require:****Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required.**Experience:** None.**Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:** ARRT registry required. Virginia state license required for ambulatory settings.**Life Support:** AHA BLS-HCP required.**Other Minimum Qualifications:** Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
