We provide innovative, technologically advanced healthcare while still maintaining our small-town family atmosphere for the comfort and recovery of our patients, while cultivating an environment of exceptional clinical and operational performance.Monrovia Memorial Hospital is currently hiring for FULL TIME CNA, FORFULL TIME – DAY/NIGHT SHIFTS (12 hrs.)Experience working on an acute inpatient setting a plus.Responsibilities Include:The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) assists the professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area.The CNA will assists patients with activities of daily living and to promote a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient, under the direction of the professional nursing personnel.The CNA will consults with and keeps supervising RN informed of unit activities, needs and problems related to patient care.Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure and intake and output measurements in a timely manner. Prepares patient room and bed for admission and transfers and ensures necessary equipment in the room.The CNA assists in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.The CNA assists with handling and care of patient belongings and other personal property.The CNA documents on the patient belonging record when the patient is admitted, transferred, or discharged.Licenses/Certifications:Current license as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of California.Current BLS certification.Skills/Qualifications:Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Nursing Skills, Medical Teamwork, Multi-tasking, Listening, Verbal Communication, Health Promotion, and maintenance.Entry level Certified Nursing Assistant from an approved program.Six (6) months experience working in an acute inpatient setting preferred.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance coverage.Vacation and Sick hours.Six (6) observed holidays and one (1) birthday holiday.Shift differential.Free online learning platform with over 200 classes available to assist you to easily renew your license.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.50 – $24.50 per hourBenefits:Continuing education creditsDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid sick timePaid time offVision insurancePhysical setting:Long term careStandard shift:Day shiftNight shiftSupplemental schedule:HolidaysWeekly schedule:Rotating weekendsExperience:Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:CNA (Required)BLS Certification (Required)Shift availability:Night Shift /Day ShiftWork Location: In personOpen
