The Role Greet guests warmly while ensuring safety and order at the door Verify IDs and enforce responsible alcohol service; refuse entry to underage or overly intoxicated guests Monitor guest behavior and respond to conflicts professionally and discreetly Manage crowd flow, line organization, and foot traffic during peak periods and events Communicate guest or safety concerns promptly to management Assist team members with guest service and security as needed Maintain situational awareness to prevent safety or security issues Perform end‑of‑night duties to maintain readiness and ensure smooth operations for the next day Uphold all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines Requirements and Skills Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; applicants must be 21 or older Must have or be able to obtain ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification Previous experience in nightlife, doorman, or high‑volume hospitality/security roles preferred Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, guest‑focused demeanor Calm, assertive, and able to handle high‑pressure situations confidently Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods and manage busy entrances safely Environment Fast‑paced, team‑oriented restaurant, bar, and event venue Opportunities to develop hospitality, guest service, and crowd management skills A culture centered on respect, collaboration, and creating memorable guest experiences Complete our short application today! #J-18808-Ljbffr District Lounge
