Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Hatfield, MA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Pay:  $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr  

Position Type: contract. ASAP Start

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy in a wholesale food distribution center. Responsibilities include cycle counting inventory, verifying product locations, validating lot and date codes, auditing inventory records, and processing obsolete inventory using handheld scanners and computer systems.

Work Environment

• Climate-controlled warehouse (28&degree;F–60&degree;F)
• Safety shoes required
• Cold-weather clothing recommended

Qualifications

• Warehouse or inventory experience preferred
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and computers
• Basic Excel or spreadsheet skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a refrigerated warehouse environment

Candidates with strong computer and spreadsheet skills will have opportunities to assist with additional inventory and reporting tasks, providing variety beyond routine cycle counting.
