Responsibilities Operate C‑arm fluoroscopy equipment for interventional pain management procedures including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, and other image‑guided procedures. Ensure proper positioning of the C‑arm and patient to obtain optimal imaging while maintaining radiation safety for patients and staff. Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging as directed by the physician in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines. Apply radiation safety practices including shielding, collimation, and minimizing exposure consistent with ALARA principles. Prepare patients for imaging and procedures by verifying identity, explaining imaging steps, and ensuring appropriate positioning and comfort. Maintain and perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality. Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the supervisor or service provider promptly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and safe procedural operations. Stay current with radiologic technology, fluoroscopy techniques, and radiation safety standards through continuing education and training. Show strong understanding of fluoroscopy positioning and imaging techniques. Display excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Work effectively and maintain composure in a fast‑paced, procedure‑based clinical environment. Communicate effectively and work well in a team. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT (RT(R)) certification. State of Mississippi and Tennessee Medical Board X‑Ray Operator License. Significant experience operating C‑arm fluoroscopy equipment. Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging best practices. BLS certification.
