Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PACU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• 36 hrs/week guaranteed
• 4x10-hour shifts: 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Rotating on-call: 10–12 days per 6-week period
• Floating to related units as needed

Core Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Arizona
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
• Strong critical thinking and proven leadership abilities
• Proficient with Cerner EMR or willing to learn
• Collaborative approach with flexibility to float as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to post-anesthesia patients
• Assess, plan, and coordinate care following state Nurse Practice Act and hospital guidelines
• Work in close partnership with interdisciplinary surgical teams
• Prioritize and delegate patient care according to team strengths and experience
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education
