This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping patients navigate sensitive and often life-changing conditions with clinical skill, empathy, and individualized care.The pelvic health caseload may include patients experiencing urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and other pelvic floor dysfunctions. The right candidate will be comfortable building trust with patients, collaborating with referring providers, and continuing to grow in this specialty area.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat pelvic health patients, including men’s and women’s health conditionsDevelop individualized plans of care based on each patient’s goals, presentation, and functional needsTreat conditions such as urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, pre- and postpartum concerns, and post-surgical rehabilitationProvide patient education related to pelvic health, lifestyle modifications, therapeutic exercise, and self-management strategiesUse evidence-informed manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training interventionsDocument accurately and timelyCommunicate effectively with referral partners and other members of the clinical teamContinue developing clinical knowledge in pelvic health and related specialty careParticipate, as requested and with reasonable notice, in community outreach, local events, patient education, employer/school outreach, or relationship-building activities that support clinic growth, brand awareness, and community engagement. Frequency may vary by market, business need, and roleQualificationsRequiredGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy programActive North Carolina PT license, or eligibility to obtain licensurePelvic health training or clinical experienceStrong communication skills and emotional intelligenceAbility to build trust with patients discussing sensitive conditionsA patient-centered approach to careCommitment to clinical quality, professionalism, and continued growthPreferred1+ years of pelvic health experiencePelvic health certification, such as CAPP-Pelvic, PRPC, or equivalent, or commitment to pursuing certification within 12–18 monthsHerman & Wallace Level 1, APTA Level 1 pelvic health training, or equivalent courseworkExperience treating both male and female pelvic health patientsExperience with manual therapy techniques specific to pelvic healthWhat We Offer:Join our team and experience a workplace that truly values your wellbeing and growth.
