Travel Nurse RN - CCU - Coronary Care - $2,400 per week

Job Title and Details WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a Travel Nurse RN (CCU – Coronary Care) for a 13‑week assignment at a prestigious hospital in Albany, NY. Specialty: CCU – Coronary Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts, 3x12) Shift: Day or Night Shift Employment Type: Travel Compensation: $2,400 per week (pay based on 12‑hour shifts); additional tax‑free stipend may apply. Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, ensuring adherence to the “five rights” of medication administration. Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and report findings in accordance with established policies and protocols. Educate patients about upcoming surgical procedures, including preoperative and postoperative care instructions. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient records. Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment, such as IV pumps and cardiac monitors, interpreting and recording electronic displays to assess patient status. Requirements Minimum 2 years of CCU RN experience. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN). Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain). BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
