divh2Job Description/h2p***THIS IS MAINTENANCE***NO PER DIEM***/ph3Position Summary/h3pBoilermaker will remove, replace and/or repair various piping systems; work on various coal fired boiler components including soot blowers, burners and dampers; work around and have experience with flue gas desulfurization process and equipment. Must have the knowledge to troubleshoot and detect both minor and major, with machines and equipment within a coal fired power plant; ability to dismantle and reassembly pumps./ph3Job Requirements/h3pMust possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below)./pp6 PLUS MORE YEARS EXPERIENCE/ppNCCER PLUS CERTIFICATION/ppMust be able to meet all physical requirements./ppMust be able to work at heights and in confined spaces/ppMust have all required tools. (see tool list)/ppMust have reliable transportation./ppMust have ability to work a rotating schedule which includes nights and weekends./ppSelf-motivated/ppLeadership Abilities/ppAbility to perform all job duties of craft trade./ppKnow when to stop work for misinformation, safety concerns or any other reason that would create a risk to ones self, a team member or damage equipment./ppDrawings/ppAbility to read basic blue prints/ppRead and understand craft specs, craft spec procedures and recommendations/ppAble to locate piece marks for correct views and know how to pick out different elevations/ppBeing able to know the correct installation based on the orientation./ppKnowledge of symbols based on legend/ppRigging/ppKnowledge of all types of safe rigging practices (chokers, slings, etc.)/ppKnowledge of rigging components (come-a-longs, chain hoist, tuggers manual, electric and pneumatic)/ppAbility to dictate correct knots based on material/ppConnection/ppKnow all aspects of connecting/ppCorrect procedures of pipe connection bolt ups, valve installations/ppAbility to properly use a torque wrench/ppFabrication/ppAbility to read cut sheets/ppLay out from drawing/ppCut material from lay out and cut sheets/ppPlan work and execute/ppAbility to take drawings, required material, line out helpers and execute work/ppTools and knowledge/ppKnowledge of specialty tools (torque wrench, mill hogg, torch, plasma cutter, chop saws, mag drills, Hogan drills)/ppWelding and cutting/ppKnowledge of cutting torch, set up, dangers, usage, cleaning, types of tips and when to use the different types of tips/ppEquipment Knowledge/ppKnowledge of JLGs man baskets, ST and RT fork lifts, ability to be training through Zachry and operate in needed/ppBasic maintenance (inspections)/ppSafe operations practices/ppSignaling of equipment (ETS, NCCO, NCCER)/ppFlagging of cranes, forklifts, man lifts/ppKnots/ppTying knots for tag lines, etc./ppBasic knots for lashing/ppMath Skills/ppFootage, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions to perform all craft duties./ppMust be willing to perform any additional duties as instructed./ppCERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSES REQUIRED */ppMUST HAVE VALID DL/ppZACHRY is dedicated in providing a Safe and Drug Free work environment; and is an Equal Opportunity Employer./p/div
