Equipment Operator II

Location: Neenah, WI – Onsite
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate: $26.00/hr
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator II to operate high-speed manufacturing equipment in an industrial production environment. The Equipment Operator II will be responsible for safely operating equipment, monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, troubleshooting basic equipment issues, documenting production results, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing or industrial experience with strong mechanical ability and experience operating production machinery, forklifts, industrial tractors, or similar equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate high-speed, technologically advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and production processes throughout the shift.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Identify equipment problems and escalate issues requiring additional maintenance support.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet established specifications.
• Monitor product attributes and production performance.
• Utilize quality systems and equipment such as quality trackers, stand checks, bag/case weighers, and metal detectors.
• Maintain accurate production, waste, delay, and quality records.
• Log and report production and quality results as required.
• Maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Support housekeeping and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in safety observation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work effectively as part of a high-performing production team.
• Operate forklifts, industrial tractors, or other material-handling equipment as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing or related industrial experience , or equivalent military education/training.
• Previous experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Previous forklift or industrial tractor experience strongly preferred.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to frequently bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb stairs, and use strong gripping functions.
• Ability to work around high noise levels, dust, and some chemicals.
• Must be willing to wear required PPE, including hearing, eye, and toe protection.
• Must be available for 12-hour rotating shifts , including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Compensation

$26.00 per hour
