Principal Presales Architect - Data, AI & Modernization

We are looking for a seasoned Principal Presales Architect to lead customer engagements across Data, AI, and Cloud Modernization initiatives. This role combines deep technical expertise with business consulting, helping enterprise clients envision, design, and adopt modern data platforms powered by Databricks, Snowflake, Cloud, and AI technologies. You will work closely with sales, delivery, alliances, and executive stakeholders to shape transformational solutions, lead discovery workshops, create compelling solution narratives, conduct demos, and influence strategic customer decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead technical presales engagements for Data & AI opportunities. Design enterprise-scale modern data platforms using Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud-native technologies. Define data modernization and migration strategies from legacy platforms to Lakehouse architectures. Conduct executive workshops, solution envisioning sessions, and customer presentations. Build compelling PoCs, demos, accelerators, and reusable solution assets. Architect GenAI, LLM, and RAG-based enterprise solutions. Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Product, and Partner teams to create winning proposals and responses. Develop industry-specific solution offerings, particularly within Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, and BFSI domains. Provide technical leadership during pursuits, solution reviews, and deal shaping activities. Required Qualifications 12+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Cloud, or AI architecture. 5+ years of customer-facing Presales, Solutions Consulting, or Solution Architecture experience. Strong expertise in Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Hands-on experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, and performance optimization. Proven experience with Snowflake and modern data warehousing. Expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud ecosystems. Experience leading large-scale data modernization and migration programs. Strong understanding of enterprise integration, data governance, security, and architecture best practices. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Apache Iceberg and open table formats. Hands-on knowledge of GenAI, LLMs, RAG architectures, Vector Databases, and Conversational AI. Experience building accelerators, migration factories, or reusable frameworks. Industry experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Manufacturing, or BFSI. Prior experience with global consulting or technology organizations.
