Recommend confirming standard hours before this goes live.Compensation $85,000 to $115,000.What You'll DoThe Cost Accountant assists with month end and year end closing of financials, with particular focus on balancing inventory and recording monthly entries for transfers and variances. This person calculates and analyzes gross profit margins and reports results to Finance and Operations, and works with manufacturing plants on cycle count processes, labor and overhead rates, bills of materials, and routings. The role includes applying cost analysis principles to inventory management, gross profit, and reporting processes, analyzing manufacturing costs and labor absorption to identify variances and areas for improvement, and assisting in the calculation of work center rates for manufacturing facilities.
