Industrial Engineer III - 3PL Experience

About the Company Our client, a leading third‑party logistics (3PL) provider, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support continuous improvement initiatives across distribution and warehouse operations. The role focuses on optimizing processes, improving operational efficiency, and implementing data‑driven solutions to enhance productivity and service levels within a fast‑paced logistics environment. Permanent, full‑time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities Design, implement and enhance efficient industrial systems and processes. Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to identify, analyze and resolve process inefficiencies. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Conduct time studies, capacity modeling and cost analysis to optimize resource utilization. Monitor performance of implemented projects and processes, adjust as necessary. Provide technical guidance and training to staff on new processes and systems. Stay updated with latest industrial engineering trends and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage. Minimum 5 years experience as an Industrial Engineer, preferably in a 3PL environment. Proven experience applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement principles and techniques. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Proficiency in using industrial engineering software and tools.
