Site Supervisor – High-End Custom Homes RTH Building Company | Montclair, NJ | Projects throughout NJ & NY RTH Building Company is a luxury custom home builder based in Montclair, New Jersey, building some of the most detailed homes in the NJ/NY region. We're a fast-paced, detail-driven team with a laid-back culture, and we're growing. We're looking for a Site Supervisor who can run the job site day to day, hold every trade to RTH's standards, and keep our projects moving at a high level. What You'll Do • Serve as the Project Manager's eyes and ears in the field, keeping the PM informed on progress, issues, and anything that needs a decision • Be on site every day as the lead presence in the field, first to arrive and last to leave • Run the daily and weekly trade schedule on site, sequencing crews so work flows without conflicts or downtime • Supervise subcontractors and field crews, holding every trade to the plans, specs, and RTH's standards • Read plans and verify layout, dimensions, and rough-in locations before work begins • Inspect work daily and at each phase, catching issues early and making sure they're corrected before moving on • Schedule and meet municipal inspectors and keep inspection cards current on site • Receive and check material deliveries, and flag shortages or damaged items to the PM right away • Protect finished work and keep the site clean, safe, and organized at all times • Enforce site safety and job-site best practices with every crew • Keep daily logs, photos, and progress updates current in our project management system • Run punch list work to completion and walk the home with the PM before turnover What We're Looking For • 5–10 years of experience in high-end residential construction, with time spent running a job site • Strong hands-on knowledge of construction details, materials, and sequencing • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications • Proven ability to manage multiple trades on site and keep a job organized • Sharp eye for quality and finish detail • Clear, direct communicator with subcontractors and the office • Self-starter who operates well with minimal supervision • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment • Comfortable with basic computer and mobile tools (UDA ConstructionOnline a plus) • Valid driver's license Compensation • $110,000-$150,000 (based on exprience) • Performance-based bonus • Long-term growth opportunities Not a Fit If • You need constant direction or prefer a slower pace • Your experience is primarily commercial without high-end residential detail • You're not comfortable being on site daily and holding trades accountable Why RTH Build some of the most detailed custom homes in New Jersey and New York Tight-knit, high-performing team Real ownership of your job site Opportunity to grow with a respected, expanding luxury builder Location Montclair, NJ (projects throughout NJ/NY) How to Apply Apply directly through LinkedIn and email your resume and phone number to Christine at View email address on click.appcast.io.
