Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for PIH Health Whittier Hospital, a 523-bed acute care facility with an average daily census of ~320 patients. Located just 12 miles southeast of Los Angeles in Whittier, CA, the hospital is part of PIH Health, a nonprofit regional healthcare network serving communities across Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the San Gabriel Valley.

What You'll Do

• Provide nutrition care across acute, sub-acute rehab, and skilled nursing units
• Lead quality initiatives (patient satisfaction rounds, monthly test trays)
• Educate interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses) Mentor dietetic interns

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
